AD/EMY/7 Life Jackets - Inspection 6/71
Applicability: All Beaufort (Air-Sea) Equipment:
(a) Babies Floating Survival Cot Mk. 3.
(b) Civil Aviation Life Jackets:- Infant Mk 1C Child Mk 2C, Mk 5C, Mk 7C and Mk 8C.
Requirement: Visually inspect all equipment of the type affected for deterioration of the adhesive in the seams. Equipment with seams or attachments that can be loosened or which exhibit severe dark brown discolouration shall be retired from service before further flight and replaced by serviceable equipment. Equipment with seams which exhibit only slight discolouration shall be replaced within 6 months.
Compliance: Before 9 July 1971.
