Upper Swashplate Bearing - Inspection and Lubrication

Applicability: All model F-28A, F-28C, F-28C-2, 280 and 280-C helicopters manufactured prior to January 1981.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Enstrom Service Directive Bulletin No 0035 Revision A until requirements of Enstrom Service Information Letter (SIL) No 0110 Revision B have been incorporated.
Note: FAA AD 76-06-11 Amdt 39-2560 refers to Enstrom SB No 0035.
Compliance: Unless previously inspected in accordance with Enstrom Service Directive Bulletin No 0035 or 0035 Revision A inspect within 10 hours time in service from 22 July 1994. Thereafter, reinspect at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service until Enstrom SIL No 0110 Rev B has been incorporated.
Background: The manufacturer has introduce a modification that allows better servicing of the swashplate bearings. This amendment raised to provide terminating action for this Directive.
