Fokker F27 Series Aeroplanes
AD/F27/110 Forward Cabin Partition Bulkhead Door Hinges 3/86
Applicability: All F27 aircraft listed in the Requirement Document. Requirement: Action in accordance with Fokker S.B. F27/25-58. Note: R.L.D. Netherlands AD 86/04 refers.
Compliance: Prior to 31 May 1986.
Background: After a wheels up landing incident the cabin door was found detached and partly blocking the doorway. This occurred due to the two part hinge assembly which allows the door to be lifted and removed. This Directive replaces the hinges with a type that is more secure.
