COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
Fokker F50 (F27 Mk 50) Series Aeroplanes
AD/F50/55 Autoflight - Autopilot Computer - Replacement 6/92
Applicability: All aircraft specified in the Requirement Document.
Requirement: In accordance with the Requirement Document Fokker Service Bulletin F50-22-005. Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document Background: The autopilot engage button on the Flight Mode Panel apparently exhibits a tendency to stick in the `engage' position. As a result the autopilot re-engages when either an autopilpot disconnect button on the control wheel or a `go-around' button on the power levers is released. A modification to the autopilot computer is required.
