Fuji FA-200 Series Aeroplanes
AD/FA-200/22 Fuel Selector Valve 12/86
Applicability: FA-200 aircraft S/N 101 and subsequent, and aircraft (prior to S/N.101) with Service Bulletin FAS-032 incorporated. (Replacement of the fuel shut-off valve with a fuel selector valve.)
Requirement: Action in accordance with Fuji Service Bulletin No. 200-007.
Japan Civil Aviation Bureau AD No. TCD-2598-86 refers.
Compliance: Unless already accomplished, within 100 hours time in service after 31 December 1986.
Background: The Manufacturer has recognised the problem of fuel loss through the vent system during parking with the fuel selector valve in the "prohibited position", due to fuel transfer between the fuel tanks. Installation of stops on the fuel selector valve will prevent this selection being made.
