SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
SIAI Marchetti FN-333 (Riviera) Series Aeroplanes
AD/FN-333/5 Electric Fuel Pump Operation - Placard 5/2003
Applicability: FN-333 Riviera aircraft.
Requirement: Install a placard in the cockpit in accordance with SIAI-Marchetti Mandatory service Bulletin Number 333-8.
Note: RAI Airworthiness Directive 70-43/FN-333.5 refers.
Compliance: Unless previously accomplished; prior to 30 June 2003.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 15 May 2003.
Background: This directive has been issued to require the installation of a placard detailing the electric fuel pump must be selected in the "Low" position during all normal flight operations. The "High" position is only to be used in flight in the event of an engine driven fuel failure.
