Applicability: All models N22, N22B, N22S, N24 and N24A fitted with 2 axis autopilot (option G48, G48-24 and G48-22S) except those modified to Mod. N554 or SB NMD-27-22.
Document: GAF Alert SB No. ANMD-27-20.
Compliance: Unless previously accomplished initially inspect within 10 hours time in service after 11 September 1981 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 120 hours time in service.
Background: The autopilot aileron servo bridle cable has failed inflight on a local aeroplane causing restriction to aileron control movement. Amdt. 1 removes from the applicability those aircraft embodying Mod. 554 or SB NMD-27-22.
