Applicability: Woodward propeller governors P/N 8210-018 (DDA 6875708), installed on Allison 250-B15G, B17, B17B, B17C engines, and included in the serial number schedule listed in the compliance document.
Document: 1. Woodward SB. 33577; or
2. Allison 250 CEB A-87 and Allison 250 CEB A-1151.
Note: FAA AD 82-12-04 refers.
Compliance: Within 50 hours time in service after 20 September, 1982.
Background: A manufacturing calibration error which could cause slow propeller feathering or the inability to feather may exist in a group of governors.
