AD/GROB 115/5 Sliding Canopy 11/94 DM
Applicability: Model G 115C, G 115C2, G 115D, and G 115D2, with all serial numbers up to 82022.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Grob Service Bulletin TM 1078-41.
Note: LBA AD 94-217 Grob refers.
Compliance: For SB Action 1: Prior to further flight after 17 August 1994.
For SB Action 2: Prior to 30 September 1994.
Note: Compliance with Action 2 of Grob Service Bulletin TM 1078-41 cancels Action 1 of the Requirement Document.
Background: During test flight it was found that the canopy guide rails could distort as a result of very high loads. In order to prevent damage, this Directive requires a reinforcement modification of the guide rails.
