COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 107 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Hose Assemblies
AD/HOSE/7 Titeflex Hose Assemblies - Inspection 3/2003
Applicability: Hose assemblies manufactured by Titeflex Corporation as identified by part number in Titeflex Corporation Service Bulletin 73-2 dated 27 November 2000. The applicable hoses may be fitted to, but not limited to;
1. Aeroplane models: Airbus A300, A310, A340; Boeing 707, 727, 737-200, 737- 200C, 747, 757, 767; Bombardier CL-600 1A11; BAe146; McDonnell Douglas DC8 series; Cessna 650; and
2. Engines: General Electric CF6-80C; CFM International CFM56-5C; Honeywell ALF502, LF507 series.
Requirement: Action per the requirements of FAA AD 2002-22-12 Amdt 39-12938.

Note 2: Titeflex Corporation SB 73-2 may be obtained from www.titeflex.com.
Compliance: No later than 13 December 2006.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 20 March 2003.
