Applicability: Series 800A and 800B.
Requirement: Action in accordance with BAe SB 32-227. Compliance: Prior to 30 November 1990. The compliance of the original issue of this directive remains unchanged. This amendment becomes effective on 23 April 1998. Background: Damage and cracks in main landing gear side stay have been reported to manufacturer. If not detected these could lead to landing gear failure. This requirement is mandatory in Country of origin.
Amendment 1 is issued to re-instate this directive to the series.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 30 November 1990.
