Applicability: Series 700 and Series 800 aircraft specified in Corporate Jets Limited Service Bulletin SB.24-293-3501A, B, C, D, E, F & G Revision 2 dated 31 March 1993.
Requirement: Modify the battery and emergency power contactors in accordance with the technical requirements of Corporate Jets Limited Service Bulletin SB.24-293-3501A, B, C, D, E, F & G Revision 2 dated 31 March 1993.
Note: This Service Bulletin has been classified as Mandatory by the CAA(UK).
Compliance: Prior to 31 December 1993.
Background: This Directive was originally issued following an in-service electrical overheat caused by a battery short to earth through a battery contactor. Amendment 1 was issued following a revision to the Requirement Document which introduced additional requirements for Series 700 aircraft.
This amendment is issued following a revision to the Requirement Document which introduced additional requirements for Series 800 aircraft. Compliance with the Directive will provide improved system integrity.
