COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES British Aerospace BAe 125 Series Aeroplanes AD/HS 125/148 Electrical Power Diode Connections 4/95 Applicability: BAe 125 Series 800A & B, 1000A & B, Hawker 800 and 1000 aircraft identified in Hawker Raytheon Corporate Jets Mandatory Service Bulletin SB 24-317 dated 22 December 1994. Requirement: Inspect the soldered diode connections on panels ZL (800 Series) or ZK (1000 Series) for integrity of the soldered joint and if necessary, resolder any unacceptable connections in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions of Hawker Raytheon Corporate Jets Mandatory Service Bulletin SB 24-317 dated 22 December 1994. Note: This Service Bulletin has been classified as Mandatory by the CAA(UK). Compliance: Prior to 31 August 1995. Background: Hawker Raytheon has received reports of imperfect soldered connections in the engine starting and battery emergency control circuits, which have led to intermittent fault symptoms in these systems. Compliance with this Directive is designed to eliminate these intermittent fault systems. The CAA(UK) compliance date is extended by one calendar month for Australian registered aircraft.
