AD/HS 748/11 Nose Landing Gear Retraction Jack Bracket Mounting Bolts

Applicability: All HS748 aircraft.
Requirement: The nose landing gear retraction jack bracket mounting bolts are lifed items and shall be replaced in accordance with British Aerospace Mandatory Service Bulletin 53/16 Revision 3.
Note: CAA (UK) AD 0115 refers.
Compliance: Replace bolts before they achieve 3000 flights.
Background: Fatigue tests have shown that the nose landing gear retraction jack bracket mounting bolts are too highly loaded to attain a long fatigue life. Distortion of the bolts has been experienced on aircraft in service.
