AD/HU 269/83 Tail Rotor Fork Bolt 5/87 DM
Applicability: 1. All 269 Series Helicopters fitted with P/N 269A6034 tail rotor assembly.
2. All P/N 269A6034 tail rotor assemblies and all P/N 369A1602 tail rotor fork bolts held as spares.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Schweizer Service Information Notice No. N-208. Compliance: 1. Within 10 hours time in service after 16 March 1987. 2. Before installation on an aircraft after 16 March 1987.
Background: The possibility exists that tail rotor fork bolts manufactured between 18 April 1986 and 28 August 1986 did not receive proper processing during manufacture. Incomplete processing may result in cracking and eventual bolt failure.
