SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CAR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: All Model Astra SPX aeroplanes.

Requirement: Check the aircraft flight manual (AFM) Log of Revisions and the Log of Effective Pages to verify that AFM Revision No 17 dated 25 July 2000 has been inserted. If the AFM has not been amended by Revision No 17, amend the AFM by inserting Revision No 17.
Note 1: Later approved AFM revisions exist. Pages affected by Revision No 17 include page No II-2 (Annunciator Panel – Guide to Warning and Caution Lights), this page must carry the date 25 July 2000 or later.
Note 2: Israel CAA AD 21-00-11-18 refers.
Compliance: Within one month from the effective date of this Directive.
This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 2 May 2001.
Background: Amendment of the AFM ensures that flight crew are aware of Emergency Operation Procedures pertaining to depressurisation.
