SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/IAI-W/27 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.1 (1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: Model 1121, 1121A, 1121B, 1123, 1124, 1124A Jet Commander, Commodore Jet, and Westwind aircraft.
Requirement: Inspect in accordance with Israel Aircraft Industries Service Bulletin 1121-55-030R1, 1123-55-056R1, or 1124-55-150R1, as applicable.
Note: Israel CAA AD 55-02-12-04R1 refers.
Compliance: Within 50 flight hours after 14 January 2004, unless already accomplished.
This Amendment becomes effective on 14 January 2004.
Background: Cracks have been found on rudder skins outside of the area listed in the Structural Inspection Program.
Amendment 1 is issued in response to a revision of the related Israel CAA AD, which requires inspection of additional areas of the rudder for fatigue cracks.
