Applicability: Westwind Series S/N 239 to 298 except 241, 252, 257, 261, 264, 265, 290, 294, 295 and 297.

Compliance: Part 1 - Within 10 hours time in service after 11 November 1980.
Part 2 - To be accomplished as soon as practicable but not later than 100 hours time in service after 11 November 1980.
Background: The FAA advise of an incident in which thrust reversers, flaps, spoilers and some lights were lost because a hot liquid container in the galley rubbed against a loom and created an electrical short circuit which resulted in a fire.
