Applicability: All models 1123, 1124 and 1124A with S/Nos. 151 to 315 except 294, 296, 297, 309, 310 and 314.

Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 May 1981.
Background: In an incident overseas a resistor in the intercom system overheated and initiated a fire on the ground. A check of Australian aircraft of this type revealed that overheating of the same resistor has occurred but not to the degree necessary to initiate a fire.
