AD/JETSTREAM/26 Propeller Governor Low Speed Setting From 94% to 96%
Applicability: All Jetstream 3100 series aircraft.
Requirement: Action in accordance with BAe ASB No 76-A-JA 880442 Rev 1.

Compliance: 1. Unless already accomplished within 50 hours TIS or by 22 August 1988 whichever occurs first.
2. Prior to first flight after installation of an engine or propeller governor.
Background: During a recent overseas accident investigation the pilot noted dual torque oscillation prior to the accident. To ensure take-off power is available this Directive requires operators to check that the governor low speed stop is correctly set between 95.5 and 96.0 percent.
