Applicability: All model Jetstream series 3100 aircraft.
Requirement: Action in accordance with Jetstream Alert Service Bulletin No. 29-A-JA881143.
Note: UK CAA AD 010-03-89 refers.
Compliance: Within 300 hours TIS after 15 June 1989.
Background: Investigation of a flight incident in which the flaps and MLG emergency selector valve jammed, revealed that the valve internal nylon detent ball had distorted. Replacement of the nylon ball with one of stainless steel will ensure valve servicability.
