Requirement: Action in accordance with BAe Alert Service Bulletin 33-A-JA 891240 Revision 2.

Background: Operators have reported cases of the cabin filling with smoke, and in one instance flames were seen coming from the cabin roof area. Investigation has shown this to be caused by arcing and/or overheating of the cabin fluorescent lighting power unit wiring.
Amendment 1 to this AD is issued to revise the Requirement Document amendment status, amend the S/No range referred to in Compliance 2 and to advise of the availability of a terminating Service Bulletin. No additional work is required by this amendment.
