Power Lever Control Cables 3/95
Applicability: All HP137 Mk1, Jetstream Series 200, Jetstream Series 3100; and Jetstream Series 3200 with constructors numbers 790 through 960.
Requirement: Action in accordance with BAe Mandatory ASB 76-A-JA 910542.
Note: Compliance with BAe SB 76-JA 911042 constitutes terminating action for the Requirement of this Directive.
Compliance: As specified in the Requirement Document, until compliance with BAe SB 76-JA 911042. This Amendment is effective from 2 March 1995.
Background: Cases were reported of failures of the power lever control cable during engine ground runs. The UK CAA found it necessary to introduce a life limitation on the affected cables.
Amendment 1 is issued to align this Directive with the manufacturer's optional terminating action.
