AD/LA-4/13 Wing Rear Spar Fittings - Inspection 12/74
Applicability: All Colonial Models C-1 and C-2.
Requirement: To prevent operation with cracked or failed wing rear spar fittings or wing rear spar fittings with distorted bolt holes, accomplish the following:
1. Remove the cover compartment containing the aileron control system, located behind the fuel tank area and visually inspect the wing rear spar LH and RH fore fittings P/Ns 3200-151L and 3200-151R, for cracks, failures or distorted bolt holes.
2. Remove the baggage compartment and visually inspect the wing rear spar LH and RH aft fittings, P/Ns 3200-148L and 3200-148R, for cracks, failures or distorted bolt holes.
Compliance: Within 10 hours time in service after 18 December 1974 and there- after at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time in service.
