AD/LEARJET 35/31 Emergency Brake Handle 2/96
Applicability: Learjet 35-002 through 35-676.
Learjet 36-001 through 36-063.
Requirement: Modify the emergency brake lever cutout in accordance with Learjet Service Bulletin 35/36-53-9.
Compliance: Modify the cutout within 600 hours time in service or one year after 1 February 1996 whichever is the later.
Background: It is possible for the pedestal cover assy to interfere with the operation of the emergency brake handle during an emergency braking situation. This AD modifies the handle cutout to prevent such an occurrence.
