Fuel Tanks - Caps, Tank Bays and Rib Stations 7/86
Applicability: All models listed in the Requirement Document. Requirement: Action in accordance with: (a) Mooney Service Bulletin M20-229, and
(b) Mooney Service Bulletin M20-230 Rev A.
Note: FAA AD 85-24-03 Amdt 39-5173 refers.
Compliance: Within 100 hours time in service after 31 March 1986 or at the next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue after 31 March 1986 whichever is the later.
Background: This Directive is raised to provide an inspection procedure for the fuel filler cap and to ensure that any water does not remain trapped within the integral fuel tank wing structure. Amdt 1 updates the Requirement Document.
