Applicability: All models MU-2B, Serial Numbers 001 up to and including 753, with or without the SA suffix.
Document: 1. Mitsubishi Aircraft International Ltd. Service Recommendation No 020/34-005 Rev B; or
2. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd Service Recommendation No. 053A.

Compliance: Prior to 31 August 1986.
Background: 1. Pilot reports indicate that erroneous airspeed indications have been noted during flight in icing conditions. The erroneous airspeed indication was caused by accumulation of ice in the pitot tube mast.
2. This Directive has been amended to increase the serial number applicability.
