Applicability: MU-2B/-10/-15/-20/-25/-26: S/N 005 thru S/N 328.
MU-2B-30/-35/-36: S/N 501 thru S/N 673. except S/N 313, 321, 652, 661 and aircraft previously modified by MU-2 Service Recommendation No. 027A. Document: Mitsubishi MU-2 SB No. 163B dated 16 November, 1978. Compliance: Unless already accomplished, at every pre-flight inspection after 31 October, 1982.
Note: For aircraft maintained in accordance with ANO 100.5.1, this Directive shall be entered on the maintenance release as maintenance required. The inspection may be performed by the pilot in command, in which case certification is not required. In all other cases certification may be made on the maintenance release. This inspection may also be performed and certified by any Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
