Main Landing Gear Pivot Shaft - Inspection 1/84
Applicability: All models engaged in aerial work or charter operations.
Requirement: Inspect the main landing gear pivot shaft P/N 17-33163 or 66584 for cracking using an approved magnetic particle method.
Compliance: At intervals not exceeding 250 landings, and within 10 landings following any heavy landing or other shock loading.
Background: This Directive has been revised to delete aircraft not involved in aerial work or charter operations, and to clarify the part numbers of affected components.
