Applicability: Falcon 2000 aeroplanes, serial numbers (S/N) 1 to 226 inclusive, and Falcon 2000EX aeroplanes, S/N 1 to 64 inclusive, without Dassault Aviation modification M2738 or M2739, and equipped with a third crew member passenger-type oxygen mask on the cockpit ceiling. Requirement: 1. Modify the routing and protect the electrical wiring bundles and/or cables in the vicinity of the optional third crewmember ceiling oxygen mask box in accordance with Service Bulletin F2000-332 or F2000EX-92, as applicable or later approved revisions. Note 1: SBs F2000-332 and F2000EX-92 cover Dassault Aviation Modification M2738. Note 2: EASA AD 2006-0003 refers. Note 3: EASA AD 2006-0003 superseded EASA AD 2005-0033, expanding applicability and limiting terminating action to the incorporation of modification M2738. Compliance: For Requirement 1 - Within 30 flights, after the effective date of this Directive, but no later than 6 March 2006. For Requirement 2 - Before further flight immediately following the Requirement 1 inspection. This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 6 February 2006. Background: The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has advised that a drawing review and associated inspections on aircraft have highlighted a potential chafing risk between the third crew member oxygen mask box, optionally installed in the cockpit ceiling, and feeder cables routed in the area.
