AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Dassault Aviation Falcon 2000 Series Aeroplanes AD/F2000/6 Horizontal Stabiliser Hinge 3/2006
Applicability: Model 2000 aircraft, as identified in the Requirement document. Requirement: Action in accordance with DGAC AD 1997-369-004(B) R1.
Note: Dassault Aviation Service Bulletin No. F.2000-118, Aircraft Flight Manual Temporary Change 44, and Maintenance Manual Chapter 5.40 Revision 4, refer. Compliance: Before 31 March 2006, unless already accomplished. This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 16 March 2006. Background: A check performed on a test aircraft revealed a deformation of the horizontal stabiliser attachment and hinge outer rings. This deformation may result in excessive play in the hinge.
