I, KEVIN JAMES ANDREWS, Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, make this Notice under subsection 5(6) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.

1 Name of Notice
This Notice is the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Definition of Employee) Notice 2006 (1).
2 Commencement
This Notice commences on 11 March 2006.
3 Declaration
For subsection 5(6) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, I declare that the class of persons mentioned in Column 2 of the Schedule, when on secondment to the organisation mentioned in Column 3 of the Schedule, are employees of that organisation for the purposes of the acts mentioned in Column 3 of the Schedule.
Note The persons are engaged in activities or perform acts at the request or direction, or for the benefit, of a Commonwealth authority.
Schedule Employees
Item Class of persons Class of Acts 1 Sample Collection Officers, including Lead Drug Control Officers, Drug Control Officers, Chaperone Coordinators and Chaperones. Acts performed at the request or direction of the Australian Sports Drug Agency, under the Australian Sports Drug Agency Act 1990, during the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. 2 Sample Collection Officers, including Lead Drug Control Officers, Drug Control Officers, Chaperone Coordinators and Chaperones. Acts performed at the request or direction of the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority, under the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority Act 2006, during the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
