AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Dassault Aviation Falcon 2000 Series Aeroplanes AD/F2000/11 Flap Jackscrew 5/2006
Applicability: Dassault Falcon 2000 aeroplanes. Requirement: 1. Carry out a check of the flap asymmetry protection system in accordance with Maintenance Manual (MM) procedure 27-502.
2. Carry out a check of the inboard flap jackscrews P/N 5318-1 new or revised (see note) nut/screw play.
3. Replace the inboard flap inboard jackscrews P/N 5318-1 new or revised.
4. Replace the inboard flap outboard jackscrews P/N 5318-1 new or revised.
5. Do not swap actuators between inboard flap inboard position and the inboard flap outboard position.
6. Carry out a check of the outboard jackscrews (P/N 1-5319-1 (LH), 2-5319-1 (RH)) and outboard jackscrews (P/N 5318-1) nut/screw play in accordance with MM procedure 27-504.
Note 1: Jackscrews P/N 5318-1 can be revised only one time according to service bulletin AVIAC 5318-27-01. They are identified by amendment a and letter R engraved after the serial number.
Note 2: P/N 5318-1 jackscrews can be replaced by P/N 5318-2 or -3 whose limitations are detailed in MM chapter 5.40.
