Currency (Perth Mint) Determination 2006 (No. 1)
I, CHRIS PEARCE, Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, make this Determination under subsection 13A (1) of the Currency Act 1965.

1 Name of Determination
This Determination is the Currency (Perth Mint) Determination 2006 (No. 1).
2 Commencement
This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Specification of coins
For subsection 13A (1) of the Currency Act 1965, each item in Schedule 1 specifies, for a coin having the denomination and standard composition specified in that item: (a) the coin's standard weight, and the allowable variation from that weight; and (b) the coin's dimensions; and (c) the coin's designs.
4 Application of Determination
The specifications in Schedule 1 do not affect any other determination of the specifications of a coin. Schedule 1 Specifications of coins (section 3)

Obverse design A circle of raised beads, immediately inside the rim, enclosing the inscriptions: (a) 'ELIZABETH II'; and (b) 'AUSTRALIA'; and (c) '100 DOLLARS';
that, in turn, surround: (d) an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II; and (e) the monogram 'IRB'. Reverse design A circle of raised beads, immediately inside the rim, enclosing: (a) the inscription '2007'; and (b) the Chinese character for 'pig'; and (c) the inscriptions '1 OZ 9999 GOLD' and 'P'; and (d) a representation of a pig standing on soil amongst 5 mushrooms.
