AMD Falcon 50 and 900 Series Aeroplanes AD/AMD 50/37 Landing Gear Components 10/2006
Applicability: Falcon 900EX aircraft, serial numbers 155, 157, and 602 (also known as "DX" aircraft). Requirement: Action in accordance with EASA AD 2006-0113.
Note: Dassault Aviation Service Bulletin F900EX-293 original issue, or later EASA approved revision, refers. Compliance: As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of 28 September 2006. This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 28 September 2006. Background: A batch of landing gear structural components has been reported to have inadequate corrosion protection. Corrosion could occur before the scheduled inspection time, as recommended and defined in the aircraft maintenance manuals. Such corrosion, unless detected and corrected, could compromise the structural integrity of the landing gear, and lead to landing gear collapse and loss of control of the aircraft.
