1 Name of Determination
This Determination is the Currency (Perth Mint) Determination 2006 (No. 3).
2 Commencement
This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Definition
In this Determination: Act means the Currency Act 1965.
4 Specification of coin
For subsection 13A (1) of the Act, item 1 in Schedule 1 specifies, for a coin having the denomination and standard composition specified in the item: (a) the coin's standard weight, and the allowable variation from that weight; and (b) the coin's dimensions; and (c) the coin's design.
5 Application of Determination
The specification in Schedule 1 does not affect any other determination of the specification of a coin. Schedule 1 Specification of coin (section 4)

Reverse design A design consisting of: (a) a stylised border diminishing towards the top of the coin, immediately inside the rim; and (b) a representation of 2 SAS men in a combat situation; and (c) a segment with a sunset background and a coloured skyline of trees; and (d) a representation of 3 SAS men descending on ropes from a helicopter; and (e) a segment containing a camouflage pattern design; and (f) the inscriptions: (i) 'AUSTRALIAN'; and (ii) 'SAS'; and (iii) '1957 – 2007'; and (g) a coloured representation of the winged dagger badge with the inscription 'WHO DARES WINS'.
