AD/CIRRUS/4 Amdt 1 - Crew Seats (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive (AD) AD/CIRRUS/4 and issues the following AD under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Cirrus Design SR20 and SR22 Series Aeroplanes AD/CIRRUS/4 Amdt 1 Crew Seats 12/2006 DM

Applicability: Model SR20 aircraft, serial numbers 1005 through 1600.

Model SR22 aircraft, serial numbers 0002 through 1727. Requirement: 1. For Model SR20 aircraft, serial numbers 1005 through 1600, and Model SR22 aircraft, serial numbers 0002 through 1727:

Accomplish the requirements of Cirrus Design Corporation Alert Service Bulletin SB 2X-25-17, Revised 20 January 2006.

2. For Model SR20 aircraft, serial numbers 1005 through 1455, and Model SR22 aircraft, serial numbers 0002 through 1044:

Accomplish the requirements of Cirrus Design Corporation Alert Service Bulletin SB 2X-25-06 R4, Revised 5 May 2005.

Note 2: Requirement 2 remains unchanged from the original issue of this Airworthiness Directive and need not be reapplied if previously accomplished. Compliance: Requirement 1: Within 50 hours time in service or 180 days after 23 November 2006, whichever occurs first; unless already accomplished.
