AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Beechcraft 55, 58 and 95-55 (Baron) Series Aeroplanes AD/BEECH 55/97 Circuit Breaker Toggle Switches 10/2008
Applicability: Aeroplane models and serial numbers listed in Table 1 that have any circuit breaker toggle switch with a part number (P/N) 35-380132-1 through 35-380132-53 installed. Table 1 Model Serial Number Range 95-B55 TC-1913, TC-1936 through TC-2456 D55 TE-452 through TE-767 E55 TE-768 through TE-1201 58 TH-1 through TH-2124 58P TJ-3 through TJ-497 58TC TK-1 through TK-151 G58 TH-2126, TH-2127, TH-2131 through TH-2134, TH-2136, TH-2137, TH-2139 through TH-2141, and TH-2143 through TH-2150 Requirement: 1. Unless previously accomplished, replace all circuit breaker toggle switches P/N 35-380132-1 through 35-380132-53 with an improved circuit breaker toggle switch, P/N 35-380132-61 through 35-380132-113, as applicable, as specified in Hawker Beechcraft Recommended Service Bulletin SB 24-3807, Issued: May 2007 and Raytheon Aircraft Company (RAC) Recommended Service Bulletin SB 24-3735, Issued: August 2005. 2. Circuit breaker toggle switches P/N 35-380132-1 through 35-380132-53 may not be installed on any aeroplane as an initial fit or as a replacement spare. Later revisions of the above SBs, approved by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Alternate Method of Compliance (AMOC) to FAA AD 2008-13-17, are considered acceptable for compliance with the equivalent Requirements of this Directive. Note: FAA AD 2008-13-17 Amdt 39-15580 refers. Compliance: For Requirement 1 - Within the next 24 months after the effective date of this Directive.
