Declaration of eligible authority as agency — Queensland Police Service
Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979
I, ROBERT BRUCE MCCLELLAND, Attorney‑General: (a) acting under section 34 of the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 and at the request of the Premier of Queensland; and (b) being satisfied that: (i) the law of the State of Queensland makes satisfactory provision in relation to the matters mentioned in subsection 35 (1) of the Act; and (ii) the State of Queensland has entered into an agreement as required by subsection 35 (2) of the Act; declare the Queensland Police Service to be an agency for the purposes of the Act.
