1 Duration This instrument: (a) commences on the day of registration; and (b) stops having effect if AD 2009-22-03, issued by the FAA, is amended or cancelled.
2 Application This instrument applies to a registered operator who operates an aircraft with Hartzell Propeller Inc. propellers mentioned in AD 2009-22-03.
3 Approved means of compliance I approve, as a means of compliance with AD 2009-22-03, other than that set out in that AD, the following means of compliance: (a) for a propeller hub, mentioned in paragraph (d) of that AD and retired from service, compliance with AD/PHZL/75 instead of FAA AD 2003-01-03; and (b) for propellers mentioned in paragraph (f) of AD 2009-22-03, compliance with AD/PHZL/74, Amendment 1, instead of FAA AD 2001-23-08.
