PERMANENT BAN ON GOODS
I, IAN GORDON CAMPBELL, Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, pursuant to section 65C(7) of the Trade Practices Act 1974, IMPOSE a permanent ban on goods of a kind specified below.
Particulars of goods:
Headlight covers for motor vehicles which allow less than 85% luminous transmittance, as measured using CIE Standard Illuminant A.
Note 1: a headlight cover is a light transmitting shield placed in front of a motor vehicle headlight.
Note 2: The measurement of luminous transmittance requires the use of Standard Illuminant A, a Standard of the Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (International Commission on Illumination) (CIE).
