This Standard may also be cited as Australian Design Rule 59/00 — Standards For Omnibus Rollover Strength. 2. Commencement 1. This Standard commences on the day after it is registered. 3. Repeal 1. This Standard repeals and replaces Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 59/00 – Standards For Omnibus Rollover Strength) 2006 2. function & SCOPE The function of this vehicle standard is to ensure that omnibus superstructures withstand forces encountered in rollover crashes so as to maintain a residual space during and after a rollover crash.
