I, SARAH JANE HALTON, Secretary of the Department of Finance, make this Determination under subsection 22SE(4) of the Parliamentary Contributory Superannuation Act 1948.

1 Name of Determination This Determination is the Parliamentary Superannuation Age Factors (Division 293 Tax Law) Determination 2015 (No. 1). 2 Commencement This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments. 3 Age factors For the purposes of section 22SE of Parliamentary Contributory Superannuation Act 1948, the age factor for a person is determined under Tables A, B, C and D of the Schedule to this Determination, based on: (a) whether the person is male or female; (b) whether the benefit is a retirement pension or an invalidity pension; and (c) the age of the person when the benefit becomes payable.
