1 Duration This instrument: (a) commences on the day of registration; and (b) expires at the end of April 2019, as if it had been repealed by another instrument.
2 Application This instrument applies to all Australian aircraft: (a) to which CAO 100.5 applies; and (b) which conduct flights only under the V.F.R. in accordance with Division 3 of Part 12 of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988.
3 Determination I determine that clauses 18 and 19 of Appendix 1 to CAO 100.5 do not apply to an aircraft mentioned in section 2.
4 Conditions The determination is subject to the conditions mentioned in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1 Conditions The maintenance release for an aircraft maintained in accordance with this determination must identify the following matters to confirm that the maintenance release is only issued in respect of flights under the V.F.R.: (a) a tick or cross placed in one or both of the checkboxes in Part 1 of the maintenance release marked "V.F.R. Day" and "V.F.R. Night"; and (b) strikethrough, crossing out or an indication of deletion of the checkbox in Part 1 of the maintenance release marked "I.F.R."
