1 Name This is the National Cancer Screening Register (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Rule 2016.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

4 Definitions In this instrument: Act means the National Cancer Screening Register (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2016.
5 Prescribed registers or databases Each of the registers or databases that contain information about individuals in connection with screening associated with cervical cancer mentioned in column 2, which exist under legislation of the State or Territory mentioned in column 1, is a prescribed register or database for the purposes of subitem 5(3) of Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Act:
