1 Name This is the International Transfer of Prisoners (Peru) Regulation 2016.
2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority This instrument is made under the International Transfer of Prisoners Act 1997.
4 Definitions In this instrument: Act means the International Transfer of Prisoners Act 1997.
5 Peru is a transfer country to which the Act applies For the purposes of subsection 8(1) of the Act: (a) the Act applies to Peru; and (b) Peru is declared to be a transfer country.
