I, Anita Davis, delegate of the Secretary of the Department of Social Security, make the following determination under paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991.

1 Name This instrument is the Social Security (Exempt Lump Sum – Western Australian Government Taxi Transition Adjustment Assistance Grant) Determination 2017.

(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

In this instrument:
Act means the Social Security Act 1991.
Eligible taxi plate owners means current holders of Perth metropolitan taxi plates purchased prior to 18 December 2015.
