This instrument is the Social Security (Exempt Lump Sum – Queensland Taxi Industry Hardship Assistance Payment) Determination 2017.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991.
4 Definitions
In this instrument:
Act means the Social Security Act 1991.
Queensland Taxi Industry Hardship Assistance Payment means a one-off lump sum payment made by the Queensland Government under the Taxi and Limousine Industry Assistance Scheme Regulation 2016 (Qld) to either:
(a) the holder and operator of a taxi or limousine service licence; or (b) the holder or operator of a taxi or limousine service licence; or
