1 Name This instrument is the Education Services for Overseas Students (Publishing Results of Enforcement Action) Instrument 2017.
2 Commencement This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
3 Authority This instrument is made under subsection 170A(4) of the Act.
4 Definitions In this instrument: Act means the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. enforcement action means action taken in relation to a provider under Part 6 of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. home website means the website the ESOS agency normally uses to communicate information to the public. Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 5 of the Act, including the following: (a) ESOS agency; and (b) provider.
5 Publication of enforcement action information (1) An ESOS agency may publish information about the matters specified in subsection 170A(2) of the Act, on its home website.
