1. Name of Standard.

1. This Standard is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 23/02 –Passenger Car Tyres) 2007.

2. This Standard may also be cited as Australian Design Rule 23/02 –Passenger Car Tyres.

2. Commencement

1. This Standard commences on the day after it is registered.

2. Function and SCOPE

The function of this vehicle standard is to specify requirements for new pneumatic tyres for motor vehicles and trailers.

3. APPLICABILITY

This vehicle standard applies to new pneumatic tyres designed for vehicles in categories set out in clause 3.7 for the dates nominated in 3.1 and 3.2
